Welcome Tilly!

Yesterday morning we welcomed our newest lesson horse home!  As of today she is on 2 week trial, but we feel already that she is going to stay!  She has her pre-purchase exam on Tuesday afternoon.  Tilly is a 12 year old dun solid Paint/QH mare.  Tilly has EPSM (PSSM) which is a metabolic condition that is maintained through a high fat diet with lots of turn out and staying in consistent regular work.  Tilly is coming to us with quite the resume.  She has been owned by the same woman for 10 years and in those 10 years she has done jumper and western pleasure work, plus she’s been a lesson horse for most of her life.  She’s also been part of Special Olympics!  Tilly is joining us as a lesson horse for all to enjoy.  Quiet uncomplicated ride for even the most nervous rider to enjoy.  We are toying around with her piratey show name.  We name our mares after pirate ships, we are thinking of giving her the show name of Fancy, nothing has been decided yet.  The Fancy was Henry Avery’s ship.

Welcome Tilly!
