For the past week and half we have been keeping a secret. Its a 16HH bay with lots of chrome TB gelding that we’ve named Zeke! Zeke has officially joined SCS over this past weekend as he’d been on trial for the past week. Zeke main job is to be my own mount and from time to time help JJ with beginner riders. Currently his OTTB status is in question since we have not lifted his lip yet since he came to us with a nasty sun burn on his nose. Once its healed (almost there!), we will check it out and see if his tattoo is still legible. If it is, then the investigation work begins! Our knowledge of Zeke’s past is that he’s spent the past 6 years with the same family first to be a pleasure horse and once their daughter outgrew her pony, she took up his reins and since then actively shown him in hunters.
